I tried the fish tacos not a lot of flavor wasn’t a huge fan, but they were OK. My son tried the sampler thought most of it was pretty good. My wife had the tuna fish sandwich and clam chowder and loved it.
Good Harvest Cafe came highly recommended and I see why! Great food and great people. Shoutout to Heather for the recommendations and conversation. I ordered the crispy fish sandwich on a pub bun and it was delicious. They are known for their breakfast and the menu looked great. Don’t have time on this trip to come back to try but know I need to! Thanks Good Harvest Cafe
Had a great dinner tonight. Mine was the Monterey burger very taste and the fries were hot with a bit of seasoning. My husband had halbut which was the special. Three time the serving siE that one would normally get. Fresh and delicious. Heather was the best waitress ever.
Anyone giving this less than 4 stars may be too high strung? I regret not taking pics of the food! It was delicious, big proportions & well done. Tasted amazing. The fresh juices were FRESH & our main course was perfectly cooked:) Our hostess checked on all tables regularly. It took me a minute to notice thay my order was missing an advertised side, it was promptly brought out with zero fuss & would have been still good without.
The restaurant itself was a bit dated and the restroom needed some help. Other than that, there were no issues. There is also have a coffee bar in the restaurant. We got the bowl of clam chowder and the seafood sampler plate to go. The clam chowder was delicious but it was probably only about 8-10 ounces. For $10, I felt like there could have been more. The sampler plate was good. All items were hot and crisp. I was pleasantly surprised that none of the items were chewy. There was one of each, oyster, scallop, and prawn along with calamari strips and fish The tartar sauce, I felt, had a bit too much relish. The cocktail sauce was spot on. I felt like the price was decent for the portion. I regret not getting better pictures. I forgot as we quickly got to eating.
The food here is great! I had a cup of clam chowder the first time just to see how salty it was, as most of them, but it was about the best I have had! I had a bowl of it the same weekend, the fish is also very good, everything was fresh. The place is really cool, great service and atmosphere. I do recommend good harvest, we will be back!
